Had an amazing Thanksgiving, albeit sooooooooo uncomfortable, For Fuck's Sake (FFS) you'll see this often in this blog. Wow how things can progress in 2 days time, suture dressing cannot stay adhered due to ointments, started turning dark red on my chest and back and the peeling has gotten worse, especially on elbows. Upper inner arms are starting to peel. Got the PRP diagnosis, started digging into all research, peeling starting  and getting bad, prescribed the TUB of Triamcinolone Acetonide .1% to try to curb the itchiness Started digging into all sorts of research and was able to find a PRP Support Group on Facebook that has been a lifesaver! Had appt with Dr Bui and had a skin biopsy to get to the bottom of what is happening, in the mean time must keep using ointments + Betamethasone DP Aug .05% and manage peel and burn, OK to start taking ibuprofen, started Acitretin 10mg Prednisone had many interactions such as not being able to take any anti inflammatory drugs or NSAIDS, so the itch was uncontrollable The rash had turned into a bright red  blanket all over my chest and back, you can see the contrast of my upper chest and torso as well as the biopsy bandage * just a note of caution, while I strive to maintain decorum, there may be images and language that is of adult nature *

Emailed Dr Cheng that the prednisone seems to be making things worse, he advised to start weening off, I have an appointment with Dermo on the 26th so we will see what she also has to say, hopefully I'll have a biopsy and that will tell me what is going on. Was in Carlsbad for Dad’s surgery and I had to go to urgent care as the itchiness was terrible, they upped the prednisone to 60MGs a day and recommenced a biopsy when I get home, I am convinced the Prednisone let the PRP flourish as things got worse~ SO NOT A HAPPY CAMPER As my Dad's surgery went well, I put my own wellbeing on the back burner, so I could focus with my Mom and Brother on my Dad's neck surgery, which ended up going VERY WELL! Had another appt with   Dr Cheng, and after an evaluation by another Dermo, decided to put me on 40 MG of prednisone a day + told them the hyrdo 2.5 was not effective, prescribed Triamcinolone Acetonide .1%   * Prednisone is a corticosteroid. It prevents the release of substances in the body that cause inflammation. It also suppresses the immune system. Prednisone is used as an anti-inflammatory or an immunosuppressant medication. Prednisone treats many different conditions such as allergic disorders, skin conditions,  ulcerative colitis ,  arthritis ,  lupus ,  psoriasis , or breathing disorders. This also allows growing of other items all over the body, like skin tags and fungus and other items that the body takes care of without us even knowing. Had appt with Dr Cheng, after Rash was spreading and getting worse, starting to itch, Dr Bui did an on call consult and determined atopic dermatitis (which would end up being incorrect) -  Perscribed topical steroid ointment hydrocortisone 2.5% Chest broken out with rash Head starting to peel * just a note of caution, while I strive to maintain decorum, there may be images and language that is of adult nature *

Noticed a rash on the top of my head and beginning to move to my face, attributed this to allergic reaction to Halloween Makeup, made appt to see Dr Cheng raised bumps on head and cheeks start to appear and are quite itchy * just a note of caution, while I strive to maintain decorum, there may be images and language that is of adult nature *
